This week 15th to 21st October marks Invisible Disabilities Awareness Week. Invisible disabilities are conditions that significantly impact a person's daily life, yet are not immediately apparent to others. These disabilities can include chronic pain, mental health disorders, autoimmune diseases, and many more. Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they don't exist!
As someone who has an invisible disability myself, after 14 years of suffering, I chose to design and make invisible illness gifts that other spoonies could relate to. Let's raise awareness together and open up those much needed and very important conversations. Raising awareness, not seeking attention, as I like to say!
